Love might be just around the corner.

I’ve always said I’m an hopeless romantic and I stand by that. Even though nowadays it’s a bit harder to believe in true love there is always something or someone that has made me not lose hope. I’m living in what is supposed to be the city of love, Paris. So, I decided that in order to keep the idea of love alive I’ll start recollecting all the love stories this city has been an accomplice to. Just imagine all those magic moments lived around every corner, at every café, museum, park, library, bar, bridge or at every sunset at Montmartre.

If there is something this city has taught me about love is that there is not just one true love, or one love for the rest of our lives. But, there is so much love around us and inside us with so many people to connect with, that sometimes love doesn’t have to last forever. One simple instant of true love between two people is more than enough to last a lifetime. And here I’ll tell you about those love stories. Those fast encounters between lovers, those dates that changed people’s lives, not in the Hollywood way but in the real life romantic way love usually does.

Think of me like your personal storyteller. I’ll be sharing with you different love stories, about different people, different situations, ages or different types of love. Some might be my own stories and some might be from my friends, classmates, or from people I randomly met at bookshops reading Romeo&Juliet. This will be the stories of hopeless romantics navigating through life in the city of love.

Can’t wait.

Xx,

A

I am a hopeless romantic always looking for the next big thing. My life is always changing because of it. Here, is the only constant of my life: writing. xo A
